Bell Bucket Hat, Child & Adult Digital Hat Pattern
About our hat pattern:
This hat is a great starter pattern for anyone interested in the craft of hatmaking (Millinery) or those who want to tap their creative juices on the sewing machine with a new pattern. It's also suitable as a team project for mothers or fathers with their kids who are just learning to sew! Our user guide includes step-by-step pictures with instructions. Something you don't get with free downloads found online elsewhere.
We've made this pattern in a lovely Scottish tartan oilskin/waxed cotton with a cotton lining as we prefer it as a rain hat. You however can use whatever fabric you like! (We'd suggest minimal stretch, heavier weight fabrics).
The pattern provided covers sizes XS-Large and comes with an easy to read User Guide. It also includes step by step pictures. We've tried to avoid any complicated sewing terms to make the journey as seamless(!) as possible.
